Who has these and carries them? I have ano emerson super cqc7 and liked it, but the lock went to crap and I took it out of rotation. I got a spyderco paramilitary 2 and like it, but I miss the feeling of a tank.

What am I missing out on? Do I pick one up or pass?

Why not get a ZT 0630?

I have a 0560, 0562cf and 0452cf. I love them. I like the heft of the frame lock. I really want an onion designed ZT like an 0200 because I love the blade shape.

really hoping ZT will do a SUPER version of the 620-630 with about a 4 inch blade.

a super size of that would be awesome. I love the emerson hook but was really looking forward to the index finger flipper... I like the huge lock on ZT but also like the spring assist they have on the 030X lines. I didnt know they discontinued those knives and dont know if ill regret not getting one

It's an impressive knife but too big to pocket carry daily. I keep going back and forth on selling mine or not since it's discontinued. It would be nice to throw in a pack, but at that point I'd rather go with a fixed blade.

Huge and awesome!

I carry mine at work sometimes when I know there's a lot of boxes to break down, just because it's a big ass fun blade.

Majority of time lately I've been carrying a knife, it's a ZT 0566. That is, until I got a large Sebenza 21 last week, and I don't see the Sebenza taking a break anytime soon.

Get a Sebenza, and don't look back.

sebenza is a bit rich for my blood...

Man, choices choices. Im not sure which way to go. I like that emerson wave on the zt but really wanted the spring assist and tank size. I almost want to say f it and just get an esee 5 to hold me over and find one used on the ee for cheaper (if market demand doesnt command a premium for being discontinued)

I've got a partially serrated 0301 I never use anymore. Makes a nice mini machete paperweight.

I have the 0301 & 0560 BW. Both are overbuilt and while you feel the heft in the hand, I don't really notice the size/weight in the pocket. My love/hate aspect of my 0301 is the recurve blade. It's great for some things and not so good at others.

I carry mine every day.  I had Northern Knives cut a pocket hook in it.

Works wonders on thumbs

I love my 0301! I carry it at work in a sap pocket and it gets way under used (I use my TDI to do all the stupid little cuts, saving my ZT blade). Carrying it in a front jeans pocket is a no-go for me, its to large for me to fit my hand past it to get my keys. When I want to go big of duty I have a 0560.

Need? No.

While I like my 0303 I'd recommend a 0560 or 0550 for EDC, with the 0560 being my favorite.

But if you know what you're getting into and looking for a tank the 0300 series would certainly do it.

I had an 0301 and while very cool, it's too big to carry IMO.

I've been carrying an 0350 everyday for 5 years now and it's a solid knife and just the right size.

Go for the 620/630, 450/451, 562/566

More capable knives that aren't bricks. Better steels and designs.

630CF and 452CF
