Hi, i'm currently building a new match rifle for my wife, and I plan on finishing it some kind of metallic purple. Her current stick is done in duracoat purple, but i've picked up from comments here and there she'd prefer a metallic finish.

So, what are my options? Being a rather non typical color, there doesn't really seem to be any options with cerakote or duracoat. Powdercoat is out of the question due to thickness. Any way to spray it with rattlecan and actually have it be durable?

Recommendations?

Cerakote makes a purple. Mix some gold with it to give it a metallic look. might have to mix some red and blue to keep it purple.

Liquid Transformations would get that look with a colored clearcoat.
