Why is there a blue safety set screw?
There is no high power laser....so why have the screw?
Probably because you use the same housing as the mil versions.

on a side note, I was finally able to get out to do some testing this weekend with my Atpial-c

friday night it was cooler than normal and rainy 100% cloud cover so no moon or stars and boy was I impressed with the laser illuminator.

lights up the tree line with no problem out to 200 and was pretty neat watching the rainfall with the illuminator on.

sadly I didnt get any action except for 3 possums

Yep, same here. An ATPIAL-C would complete my CQBR clone. However, it would also force me to finally acquire some night vision.

I wonder how many people who entered this drawing also don't have NVG's.

2 TNV14's later (bought them last year) and now 1 Atpial deep, I'm poorer but have some awesome fighting gear.

Moved my X400V IR-c to a handgun so now Im finally ready from that standpoint too.

Just waiting for Raven to finish up my holster and I'm all set.

Vic, FYI Jaimie was awesome and helped me get a shipping option that worked for my time crunch for this weekend.  You guys took my order, adjusted shipping for me, and got it out the door within a few hours to help ensure that Fedex could get it to me by this weekend.

Hopefully DSG Arms matched that speed, though they had an extra day to do it

Of course, I will post pics when I get it in and all assembled.

Its 2 months old and we're just now getting above freezing, so its been zeroed, had some mags through it to ensure it works, and put in the safe.

So you would be correct, it does look new, because it is new

Sure, its an SF SR07-D-IT.  The front pad with the dot operates the white light, and the rear pad activates the laser.  The "double tap for constant on" still works for the laser.  I don't particularly care for top mounted fire buttons on most lasers, so this lets me use it like I use most everything else.  There is a nice ridge at the front of the pad that I always rest my thumb on to avoid ND's of the white light too.

I have since swapped the 600 out for an X300U with the SF tape switch adapter, mainly because it has a kill switch on it.  Shooting at night, flip the switch, no worry about accidentally letting 500 lumens go.

Will someone who owns a ATPIAL-C measure how high it is from the top of the rail to the top of the laser? I am wanting to know if I can use it mounted at the 12 O' Clock position while also using the IR Hunter thermal without or at least minimal obsctruction.
