I searched but didn't see a thread dedicated to pictures of your NV devices mounted on your firearms.
Let's start one! I don't have NV yet, but this thread will help me decide what kind of setup I want. |

I thought the specterIr had its own reticeles why mount it behind the aimpoint micro?
The Specter DOES have its own reticle. This is a backup CQB system called the MURLM It an offset red dot mount that is not in the FOV of the Specter. Hope this helps. Vic |

thats depressing...knowing its worth...and knowing i won't own one for 10+ years. I couldn't save 12k if my life depended on it. It will be spent on several ars and a few pvs14s from you by that time lol. Awesome stuff. |

How would one go about mounting a PVS-14 to the top of a flat-top AR? I am sending my check to victor tomorrow for one, I got a helmet mount rig from a buddy in the county sheriff's office that he just donated to me, and I found one of these:
Larue LT110 Optics Mount in the local classifieds for 50 bucks. What else do I need to mount a PVS14 on an AR? Edited to add: Victor, my wallet hates you. You need to have a disclaimer before posting IR pictures. Tease us for years with NV shots, drain our accounts and the start with the IR stuff. You're killing us. |

I found a used GG&G mount on the equipment exchange for $135, good price... |
The most versatile and quickest unit to go from ones head to weapon and vice versa is the GG&G weapon mount. The other great way to go if you want to use a AP magnifier for your day operations is to use the Aimpoint twist base. GG&G is now offering a PVS-14 twist ring for this base which made a great system even better. Hope this helps. Vic |

Sorry for the brief hijack.... GG&G also makes a base for the AP 3x mag that fits the PVS14 mount. I've still tried neither with my 3x, but both are on the short list to try out. |

Interesting! How is your eye relief with that setup and also any issues with ejecting brass?

Gotta love firearm/night vision innovation, always brings a smile to my face Last December I had a 91/30 mosin nagant w/ a rail on the barrel w/ a cherokee laser on it. NV on the helmet, it was the ultimate technologically confused setup... but it worked |

That is one of the most innovative combos I've seen recently. |
