great setup guys.
anyone know where to get helmets for LARGE headed folks like myself? my noggin measures at least 61 centimeters, and most of these cut off a tiny bit before that. any suggestions of comments would be welcomed, thanks! |

Dave, Thanks for sharing! We don't see too many of those on this side of the world. I'd love to see the shroud and rhino arm in more detail if you have time to take some more pics. As for the strap attachment; I hear ya. The only thing I can suggest is taping down the throw lever to make sure that it doesn't catch on anything and come undone. Also, make sure to dummy cord the optic to the helmet in case it does come off |

Sorry And If you need them theres also a few more in the following gallery, hopefully they show enough detail. If not just shout :) http://yfrog.com/10s7300830jx Thanks for the tips on securing, when we move onto using them 'proper' then i will no doubt follow your advice :) Best regards, Dave. |

No disrespect, but what do you guys do with these helmet rigs? You would think that short of being in the Special Forces, the helmets and NVGs would just sit there...

Thats why a lot of guys go with the bike helmets. They dont need ballistic protection so they go for light weight for comfort. Duh...main reason for helmet and mount is for hands free use. Think about it, you want to walk around all night with one hand always holding the NV? The stock head harneses that come with them are a pain to get adjusted just right, and even then are very uncomfortable after a while. |

And if you look at my resonce then you would see I gave a totaly usefull and just as informative answer as well: "...hands free use. Think about it, you want to walk around all night with one hand always holding the NV? The stock head harneses that come with them are a pain to get adjusted just right, and even then are very uncomfortable after a while" im not psycic so no way i could have know what type of answer you were "looking for". I love to do night hikes. When you are on a long night hike you dont want to have to walk around holding the NV. The helmets (even mine) which is just a PSAGT helmet with extra padding is MUCH MUCH more comfortable then the stock braincrusher head harness. |

Since the Wilcox mount is a break-away type, the lanyard keeps the NOD / mount from falling to the ground. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions. Clint |

I wonder if you can get the retractable lanyard separately? I bet I you can screw/bolt it on to the top of my Pro Tec helmet.

Again I'm still training and learning but I would do one of the Bell/Protech helmet setups shown and buy build a good laser and practice practice practice |

Newb here that needs some help. I have a MUM/Mini with the J-arm,the factory weapons mount, and the dreaded "skull crusher". I have saved and sold guns to finally get what I wanted and not waste my cash.
I have looked at the bump helmets from TNVC, I can afford $69-129. I am confused as to what mount to use, I assume I will use my factory arm that connects it to the "skull crusher". So what mount does the J-arm connect to? Keep in mind this is a budget project for me. Any help would be great. Guess I may have to call and bug Victor. |

You would need the Rhino flip up mount assembly and your choice on helmet shroud (which we recommend) that allows the Rhino to snap into this or one can just use the hooks of the Rhino plate with wrap around strap. See pics above that show the Rhino flip up assembly or HERE that shows the detailed parts of the helmet package. Hope this helps. |
