I never thought I'd see the day but all my regular sites that sell your basic Mosin are out! Seeing so I'm having a hard time figuring out what my Tula 1943 is worth and setting a price for it on our local FB swap group.

What have you guys saw 91/30s going for lately? Obviously I want to get as much as I can for it but I want to be reasonable as well.

Around my parts. Non Bubba'd import refurb 91/30's have been in the $175-199 price range and they sell.....

A 1943 Tula is a fairly common Mosin won't bring any slight premium unless a X-sniper or built on re-used hex recvr.

No kidding?

I WAY overspent on my SBR projects and need to sell some stuff I never use to make up the difference. I was going to put it for what I paid, eighty bucks, but if they're going for that now it would be stupid not to price it accordingly.

Thanks!

People here are listing them for $250 on Armslist and they are gone within hours.

Well I posted it for a reasonable $175 and it sold in two minutes lol. Christ I think I paid $79 for it a few years ago, never thought I'd see the day.

What killed the Mosin for me was the end of the super cheap surplus 54r coming in. Granted there's a lot more ammo manufactures putting out 54r today then even a few years back but I bought it as a cheap blaster and that's all.

They were selling for $299 at our last gun show.  The M44's were $350'ish.  Didn't see anyone buy any of them for that price.  I bought my 91/30 for $79 and my M44 for $99.   Amazing what prices have done.

Anything under $200 moves pretty fast here any more

I just don't get it. These used to be sub $100 guns. Granted I remember with the M48's were cheap, and ammo was cheap. Now you can't find surplus 8mm anywhere.

I wonder if when the Ukraine thing ends if prices will come back down.

I sold 8 really nice ones (with matching bayonets) to my LGS for $230/each for Tulas and hexes $215/each for Izzies.  We were both happy at those prices.  I am curious to see what he's going to charge, he said he may sit on them for awhile.

At the Gettysburg gun show in PA last weekend, I saw a 1948 M44 for $280.  I would have grabbed it but the stock had been refinished.

Well damn....

I've got a nice '31 ex dragoon hex all matching Tula sitting in the safe with less than 20 rounds down the barrel from me that I got from Big 5 just a couple years ago for less than a 100 that I ought to sell to fund more 8mm for the K98's I love to shoot.......
