Not very often, but a few years ago a member here held a couple of rimfire matches at their club. There were some really fun stages, but my favorite was the long range stage. They had a 3.5" steel swinger placed every 10 yards out to 200 yards. You were timed at how long it took you to finish out the 20 targets. Max time allowed was 10 minutes. I had figured out my drops ahead of the match and did a little practicing one evening. I did it in under 8 minutes at the first match. I flew through the first five (50 yards), then the next five out to 100 yards wasn't bad. After that it started getting tricky. Beyond 150 was getting very tricky, as there was a very slight cross-breeze. The next time I went I don't think anyone got all 20 targets in under ten minutes. There was a breeze again, still light, but heavier than the last time. Those late five plates were tough.
