Just bought these.  Should arrive next week for me to gut out the electronic internals, some dremel work and then drop in the .22 receiver/barrel

Both are FULL METAL except for the flash hider and pistol grip.  I will be getting the same hider used on the ruger 22/45.

Each shell will have its own marlin 795.

Each weighs 16-19 lbs.

Repainting them black

Wow. I'd love a M82. But $10k and .50 here are both no go. That is a cool alternative.

I'm also in California and don't have that kind of money for the gun nor the ammo.

Cool!

Wasn't there someone here building M249 dress-up kits for 10/22's? Now that we have the reliable Ruger hi-cap, they would be worth the look.

They all arrived a few days ago.  Will be gutting them tomorrow for fitment.

Barretts are all metal except for the pistol grip and flash hider

TAR21 is made of strong polymer plastic

Originally each body will have its own Marlin 795 dropped inside but I'll be test fitting to see if my 10/22 will also fit inside.  The marlin 795 will have to be rigged as a bullpup HOWEVER if i can put the 10/22 then i can just drop it in and use a longer aftermarket barrel to make up the long barrel length of the M82

.22LR Barrett M82 (Paid $320)

.22LR Barrett M99 (Paid $130)

.22LR Tavor TAR21 (Traded my Kindle Fire)

When I'm done, I will be doing a test fire at my local INDOOR range.

Is it considered a suppressor when the M82 barrel covers majority of the SHORT barrel of either the Marlin or 10/22?  What if I created vented slots underneath the barrel?  I'm in california

So i had some time today to do a test fit with the ruger 10/22.  I mentioned before that i was going to use my Marlin but i didnt really want to do a bullpup trigger linkage.

Anyways there's plenty of room for the upper receiver.  The actual trigger assemble fits as well.  I just have to cut off the trigger guard off the M82 so it can sink down.  I also have to create a bracket for the pistol grip.

Another thing I need to do is get longer retaining pins to go into the receiver to prevent movement.

Also need to trim out an ejection port.

In regards to the barrel, the M82 is about 32 inches long.  So I have to do a barrel extension to make it 16 inches longer to make it flush to the muzzle.

Overall I'm totally surprised this 10/22 actually fits. I will definitely shoot a video of how I did it after I complete modifying this stock.

I guess my .22LR Marlin 795 will go into the other Barrett M99 since I'm able to do a bullpup trigger linkage with the existing M99 trigger assembly

Stay tuned!
