Hey gents, few quick PASGT questions I can't seem to find.

Going to switch out to an ACH pad set up. For the ones that have done it, what helmet cover did you go with? Modify a PASGT one or go with a bigger sized ACH?

If any of you added an ACH chin strap, did you drill or use existing bolt holes?

NOTE: I know there are existing kits out there, but it's pricing out cheaper to buy pieces separate if it'll work.

New question. Does anybody know if Howard Leights will, fit under a pasgt. Specifically the ears. I run comms so just earplugs won't cut it.

The Marine Corps reversible helmet cover will work. The Marine LWH is the same profile as the PASGT.

Get LWH chin strap also if you can. Better than ACH because it won't loosen on you.

My Peltor Tac 6S(can't remember the model name off the top of my head) fit under my ACH. The ACH should have similar room under the ear bulges as the LHW and I believe the HL are much slimmer underneath. You just need to play around with the pads to make a channel for the band to go.

Depending on how big your ear pro is, you may need to go up a helmet size and use thicker pads.  Try to avoid ear pro that has knobs and such sticking out on the side.
