I ran into a place selling bullet barrier brand blades and gear. They had s 3a set up vest that let you add a level 4 plate inside as well. He said a lot of swat guys use that. Anyone heard this before?
Also his vests were about $600 with the 3a and the bullet barrier plates were about $200 each? Super exspensive? He said everything was made in the US.

Do you have a link or photos? What is the cut of the soft armor, and profile of the plates? I have never heard of "Bullet Barrier".

I run soft plates under my grey ghost level IV. Mainly just because it makes it more comfortable to wear, but also for the peace of mind of added protection from the blunt force if there is any rear face deformation.
