(Hope these types of threads aren't lynchworthy)

Someone local is looking to sell his FNS-9 with all the factory stuff and (he claims) less than 300 through it, for $375. I can probably talk him down to $350 cash, is this a good price on one of these? I'm new to FN but it looks like the online prices are more in the 500's so I'm tempted to leap on it, I've been thinking about grabbing a spare gun since all I have right now is a Beretta Px4 (which I love). Any input would be much appreciated.

EDIT: Guess it was a good deal, someone else already bought it while I was dilly-dallying.

That was a stellar deal.  Dealer cost is 499, and fn is serious about MAP.  You missed out.

Don't hesitate to shop for used FNs though, you can't imagine what it would take to wear the barrel out.

I literally got a used, but like new FNS 9 with a custom kydex holster for $350. The original owner just didn't care for it. So glad I bought it, well worth the money at that price.
