I found it on Gunbroker from a pawn shop in North Carolina. The production run was last year (my test target shows a July 2015 date), so considering how few were made, they're getting hard to find now. I put this on layaway back in January and paid around $2,700, but the ones left on GB now seem to be $3-4k. Colt's custom shop does some outstanding work. The build quality is just as good as any Ed Brown or Wilson Combat 1911 I've ever handled or shot, from the slide-to-bushing-to-barrel fit to the nitride finish. |
