Just noticed this cartridge and the Ruger LCR and SP101 chambered for it.

I'm really tempted to change my EDC, since I carry a .38 spcl LCR already.

Muzzle energy looks stout, nice velocity (penetration), and 6-rounds in the LCR snubby frame.  What's not to like?

Anybody thought about this combination?

If you reload, go for it.

Factory ammo is already scarce and likely won't get more common unless more companies chamber for it.

It is a beast of a mouse round, been pondering buying one for a free years myself.

Neat round, neat concept.  Round is going to go down the 41mag route though.

Sad though, because it actually did solve a problem.......

I'd love to add one to my collection.

I have had a Single-Seven for a few years now and I love it. My kids like shooting .32 long through it and full power 327 loads rock steel nicely. I still want a 4" SP101 to keep it company.

I have an Air Weight in .32 H&R Magnum.

I don't carry it much anymore, but I liked the extra round.

What we really need is a Ruger LCR 3" barrel chambered for .327.

Also found a Henry lever gun chambered for it.  That's pretty cool.

Was up at Cabelas and they had three .327 Fed Mag loads in stock.  I think the Federal JHP low recoil stuff is the round for EDC.  $22.95 for 25 rounds, and that's OK for carry loads.  There was a bunch of other .32 cal stuff at better prices, but none of it was ball-ammo price-class.

Starting to shop around, maybe I can find a safe queen on the EE.  It could be out there.

A Friend really likes 327 and has a couple of Ruger revolvers in 327.   The 327 Magnum is no slouch especially out of a SP101, it feels much more like a hot 357 Magnum than a 38 Special +P.

I've been on the fence for a few months now on a Single Seven in .327

Henry is now making lever guns chambered in the cartridge

As posted above the cartridge will probably go down the route of the .41mag, which is a shame because its essentially a modern day version of the .32-20

I want a Ruger GP100 convertible between .327 and 7.62x25 with moon clips.

That won't work with out a spare cylinder.
The 4" sp101 is the best Ruger Revolver I have from them.
The 8 shot Blackhawk I don't shoot well loosing the grip as I squeeze the trigger.
My single seven has a .30 cal barrel on it and takes .316 bullets in the throat.
Now I took a narrow band sander and knocked the edges off the rough sp101, did a trigger job and polished the internals so that made the difference prolly.
The cylinder has the proper throats and barrel is .32 cal that helps a lot.
I like to shoot a lot of 32long with a cast bullet.

I am on the hunt for a Henry in 327 but have come up dry so far.

I'm aware of that.  One being a bottleneck rimless, and the other being a rimmed straight wall.  And "convertible" generally means 2 cylinders.

I could *almost* do it out of the current catalog parts bin.  I need a cylinder with a diameter that will accommodate 6 9mm or .357.  But bored for 327.

The SP101 has a 6 shot .327 cylinder, but the diameter is too small.  The GP100 has the right diameter cylinder, but the 327's are 7 shot.

Do it. The .327 is a fantastic round. If you are worried about it going the way of the dodo just buy lots of SD ammo now while you can. I dont think itll be an issue due to the internet, but if you like a certain loading just buy a shitload of it now and don't waste it. Practice can be had with the other .32 loadings too in a revolver IIRC which is pretty cool.

I think the .327 is a cool idea and I like the round. If Smith & Wesson would make an 8 shot version in an "N" frame with a 4" barrel I'd consider one pretty hard; but reloading for it would be mandatory... which isn't a big deal! However, I don't care for any of the current pistols being made for the .327 magnum available now though.

I would love to have a Ruger Single Seven, 4" SP101 or Smith Model 16 in .327.  Not for SD but small game hunting.  I'm also a .41 nut.    That also means I reload and cast.

Big fan of the .41 Mag and love the science behind the .327 Mag. I wish it caught on and became extremely popular. If it came out in the early 90s it would have been cemented in the market place.

I really wish it had caught on, I'd love to have the LCR chambered in it for those quick errands.

Possible lack of long term support has erased it from my list though.

I just hope Ruger will bring back the 3" SP101 or a 3" LCR in .327.

That's the equivalent of a 640 Pro, not a airweight 442/642.
