DECODING THE FEG HI-POWER NOW AVAILABLE IN PRINT VERSION

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some of you FEG Hi-Power fans may remember that back in 2010 I wrote an extensive history of the FEG Hi-Power style pistols and placed that history on a blog. Well, after the panic following the Newtown incident my editor and I became concerned that the blogesphere might just come under government pressure to jettison gun-related material. With that in mind, we moved the article to Amazon.com as a 99 cent Kindle book.

Now, a few months later, after receiving a number of requests for a print version of "Decoding The FEG Hi-Power", we have managed to do just that. It seems that folks wanted a copy that wasn't all cooped up in their computers, so for those who wish an easy, printed reference, the paperback version is now here and available.

The book is a paperback measuring 8 X 5 X 0.2" and has 68 pages. In order to keep the cost under ten bucks a copy we had to sacrifice the color photos, but the tradeoff is that the black and white photos offer better detail of the guns being depicted. The text and photos themselves are unchanged. The cost is $5.69 for the paperback and it is still available in the Kindle Library for 99 cents.

The print version is at

http://www.amazon.com/Decoding-F%C3%...dp/1495488365/

]The kindle version is at

Amazon.com: decoding the feg hi power: Kindle Store

I sincerely hope you enjoy the new paperback.

JayPee
(PS - Moderators, I wasn't sure where to put this, so if you need to relocate it, please do so.)

I was bummed when that website went to Kindle. Was a nice place to recommend to those looking to buy a Feg for more info on their future purchase.
Question any update planned based on all these Fake FN's - FEG's with FN markings from Israel?

What makes you think Israel is the source?

I believe they were part of the shipment Coles Distributing bought from Israel. The question is did Israel confiscate them or were they made for Israel.

I know he often has Kareens and Star of David marked guns, but how do you know his source?  What narrows down his supply to one source?  Has he stated it somewhere that I missed?

His stock certainly does seem to imply such a source, but I haven't heard it from him.

I now have three of these and there's not a single Isreali mark on any of them. I'm not sure where they're from and as nice as they are for as little as I paid (even with shipping and transfer) I don't really care

Along with the Kareens, he had Star of David marked S&W autos, Beretta's, Tanfolio's, and few others.
With such a wide variety of Star of David marked guns, I'm going to take a wild guess and say most of these guns came from one source. Especially since he had the majority of the re-finished.

Here's a couple more Israeli Fegs:

I'd bet the Fake FNs were guns Israel confiscated and then released for export. Here's a couple more Israeli confiscated guns:

Would be interesting to get the arabic writing on some of those Cole guns translated. Might find another Sadam gun.
