I recently traded for a 5.25 " XDm in 9mm
It has quickly become one of my favorite pistols.

I was doing some rapid fire drills the other day and noticed that the smooth areas on the grip were allowing the gun to move in my hand more than I cared for. I broke out the soldering iron and went to work. The results are in the pics below. I couldn't be happier. The gun feels like it's glued to my hand now.
