Picked it up for USPSA Revolver division when they changed the rules allowing the 7&8 shot revolves to play.  I love beating the bottom feeders with the noble round gun.

Nice. I got to fondle my very first flat latch smith in the wild at a gun store the other day. It was nickle plated, and in rough condition, but still pretty cool to actually get to see one in person.

The S&W Model 642-2 is brand new. The nickel-plated S&W Model 37 is 1982-vintage wearing buffalo horn grips and a BK Grip adapter. The 642-2 replaced the 37 as my "all the time" gun. In uniform it rides in the cargo pocket or on my ankle. Off duty, it rides in a Don Hume JIT belt slide, a Safariland ALS 6380, or a pocket holster. On "dress-up" occasions (very rare) it might ride on my ankle. And, yes, I wear one of them around the house, if I'm wearing pants.

More to follow after I get to my other computer.

And recently picked up my first Gun born the same year I was a Model 49 from 1978.

My fanciest S&W I put on layaway for six months at 1/3 of its market value. I was a little nervous they'd figure out what it was and mess with me

I'm not worthy, but screw it, it's mine now.

Just the 3-1/2" nickel five screw 357 on pg1 and 2. Everyone gets lucky eventually.

Supposedly that nickel 22-4 is one of 300 in that finish, though it doesn't have any collector value as of yet.
