I bought for a pittance because somebody was an idiot and ground down the front sight. My buddy got some Trijicon night sights in stock so I got those swapped in. And on the same visit, I picked up my new SFP9 (aka VP9) and a Streamlight TLR1. These both join my P2000.

Finally got out with my new VP9 to run it through it's paces.

Went 250 rounds of Winchester WB and 100 rounds of Speer 124gr Gold Dots. Slow fire, fast fire, mag dumps, both with and without can, with factory barrel and SiCo threaded barrel.

Nary a hitch. Going to move this one into my carry rotation.

I'm stoked. This is the third HK45 I get, I sold two (black ones) previously and I always regretted it.

Not this time, not going to happen that I sell her again.
Never sell your HK45.

This one has a cerakoted slide, only thing that is not original. I still like her, probably more, but I am wondering: could/should I send her to HK here in the US to have the slide refinished with the original finish? Do they even do this?
