Have the 226 and 1911 kits. Like them a lot. Mags are a bit expensive and last shot old open doesn't function with the 22 kits though.

Thanks

Knew about the hold open.
Guess I'll "pull the trigger" on one.

There used to be some after market followers for the magazines that would hold open the slide on last shot but I can't remember who or where to look, might worth your time to search and see if they are still around.

Thanks gents for the reply's

I waited to get home from work to place the order (why I didn't just use my phone ? )  only to see that the P938 kits are sold out.

Well fuck me as usual.

Same here, no issues on the  1911 or the 226 conversion

Mine run well (.22 conversion on a p229 and bought a p226 CLassic .22 that I put a 9mm centerfire kit).

Manual does recommend high velocity ammo, but I haven't noticed any problems.

Doesn't apply to OP (as not for p938) but GSDesigns makes 3d printed mags for the p220/226/229 with last round bolt hold open.  I have 3 or 4 of them, and use them exclusively.  Haven't shot my .22 conversions in a while, but I pretty much stopped using my Sig mags.

I had no idea those existed.  I always wondered why Sig put out a .22 conversion kit that didn't have the same functionality of the Advantage Arms kits for Glock.  Do they work well?

I've been happy with the GS designs mags.  Just as reliable as the Sig, and the last round hold open works.

I recall that I had one that had a little defect that I had to file down slightly, but I am happy with them and recommend them.

Worst thing about the stock mags is that in most  rimfires, dry firing can do harm.  I think holding the slide back on the last round is very important in a rimfire.
