Lets look at the short falls of the GI mags...... Bend feed lips, broken welds, crushed mags, floor plate failure, do not drop on hard surfaces very well..... etc. Like any magazine it will always be the weakest part of a firearm where the majority of failures originate. This has been true since the advent of semi auto weapons and still rings true today we can only make magazines better but never perfect. |

I can find Glock factory mags for $20. I think I'll wait and see how they hold up before I "save" $4 on an unknown.

It was a little joke... as most of the Glock Guys here would know (AJE whom I quoted certainly would, and my jab was mainly for him), but I don't recognize you and you probably don't know me from Adam. I have more Glock pistols than many here have Glock mags, and don't even want to know how many Glock mags I have.
And yes, I pre-ordered 10 of the new Magpul mags as soon as I saw the first email from DSG, "just because."
