The M3 has been replaced with an X300...I definitely like the M3 better (looks wise), but the lumens...oh and also the M3 bulb burnt out and I can't find a replacement anywhere. Might have to try a DIY LED conversion somehow..

The x300 is a better (and more attractive) light.

As for LED conversion, they're out there but hard to find. I needed one for my PEQ14 and it cost $65, and only puts out 350 lumens. Give me a few and I'll dig up the guy I got it from and take a picture to compare the bulb to the LED.

Oh I agree hands down, the x300 is a far superior light lol, I just like how the m3 body is blockier and follows the (lack of) curves of the glock. I'll most likely keep the x300 on it but would still love to do an led conversion on the m3.

I'm going to do a write up on the 850xl pictured above. The short is that on the phlster spotlight in the photo, and the darkstargear rigel, you need to sand the right side down a bit because the nightstick light's 850xl has the metal screw on the other side.

Thanks! Kind of a waste of money building from scratch, like the opposite of building an AR. Paid twice as much as a stocker to put it together, but it was worth it to get it just right.

Just measure twice and cut once as they say, cause there ain't no going back! I was freaked out that I wasn't gonna like the radius serrations until I opened the box, but they did the trick to break up the boring slide without too much bling.
