Seriously awesome, had no idea you could do that. Very cool. Have you had any issues with something getting lodged between the spring (I would assume not since you are still carrying it).

I only have a little over 600 rounds through this setup but so far so good. Obviously you create a large gap for dirt and debris to enter the pistol. Honestly thought this hasn't been an issue as the gun is protected from the elements when carrying IWB. The knife is a CRKT Wharncliffe design blade. For an entry level knife, I am quite pleased with it. The belt is an Ares Gear Aegis. I have been wearing it daily for the last 9 months. It is hands down my favorite belt. |

Waiting for the in-laws to arrive for Easter...good time to play with the camera.
Most of the time it's the G19 or the Baer. The others get a fair bit of carry time too, though. 
This one doesn't get carried a lot, but I included it because I'm carrying it today and it's pretty. :-)

As soon as I saw it I assumed the function of it was related to the blitz thread. I love my 1911 but I have seen too many threads asking how to keep the mechanical safety from knocking off while carrying iwb in a quality rig to trust that.
