Yes, the new guns made by CSA/Czechpoint come with just over 16inch barrels and are threaded with removable muzzle devices. Rifle builds by Czechpoint or CSA may still show up from time to time like they have recently (Czechpoint sold seven total builds made by them in the USA and sold some dealer/show samples recently). But they're either out or have extremely limited supply of original barrels. So Lothar Walther in Germany makes new barrels for them. Czechpoint has sold guns since 2014 with 16.15 inch barrels.

WTF? LOL. Nice you grabbed the pic of my rifle from AK Files. Mine is the one leaning against the RCBS powder stand, any way "few rounds", how about you take the quote in context...
"Old design had writing on the right side as well. The disconnect is rounded on the newer design. the old was a more, square cut. Here is a pic of mine, >500 rounds trouble free, once I got past the safety switch thing on the second trip"
I have seen VZ58 receiver stubs with he same wear. The wear on mine has not grown since the initial range trip.

Or maybe when vz2008 owners see this....they get feed back from other owners sayin "mine does that and it's normal" well....just a few pics vz2008 owners with little to allot of rounds shot through it
I had read somewhere (other than this thread) that since they had to switch to the 16.15" barrels, the barrels are actually made by Walther in their US plant, not in Germany. And are button rifled just like the VZ2008 barrels are. Just FYI.

Got a link to where you read that? I highly doubt that the new 16" barrels are made in the USA fior the fact
1. On czechpoints website indicates "Made in Germany" not in the USA
2. On czechpoints site has a list of the 5 U.S made parts on the rifle to comply with 922r. The U.S made walther barrel you read about is not on that list.
