I want to SBR my M92 with an appropriate underfolding stock.  I have the stock and know that I have to file paperwork and pay the tax to do this.  In the past I have built a couple polish under folders on precut receivers.  This M92 has a solid rear trunnion.  I do not have the equipment or skill to mill the correct holes for the installation of the underfolder.  Once I have my stamp and the SBR is properly registered, who would you recommend to do this work?  Tia

If someone else does the work, wouldn't they technically be the one who created the firearm?  How does that work exactly? I thought that the person who gets the tax stamp has to be the "maker" of the weapon.

Good point. If that is the case, I may be getting one of the mini mills from HF to enable me to do this work.

No, you're still the maker.

InRange is great.  I have no idea what their backlog is though.

Exactly.

Your name, city and state are going on the gun, not theirs prior to you sending it to them. They are only providing a service for you after you have registered it as an SBR.
