It's been a while since I've been in the AK game and I'm now looking at a PKM to fill the beltfed hole in my life. My question is this: Does a PKM use an AK trigger group? Will the new Tac Con AK trigger work in a PKM?

No, the trigger is more like that in the RPD. Not at all like the AK.

1st poster is correct. Semi RPD & Malcomar PKM use striker type hammer while maintaining a semi modified form of the original FA sear release. Did hear where there is a guy was making new aluminum PKM trigger housings to convert them over to a real hammer system.
