My experiences with Classic have all been good. They had WW send a UPS pick up label as soon as I told them my Waffen Werks AK 74 had a canted front sight. But I learned and my new AK 74 is a converted Saiga. Can't beat the converted Saiga for $650 |

I was already having trouble stomaching a $35 shipping charge, but this price increase kills the deal for me. There was no justification on jumping the price up like that overnight and for a few hundred more, I'd rather get a Bulgarian Arsenal w/ a chrome lined barrel. |
That's pretty standard for pistols (unfortunately). Both Fedex and UPS require they be shipped using overnight/next day service.
The shipping cost is what stopped me from getting the M92 from J&G. It's $47 to get it from AZ to FL. The last pistol I bought was shipped via USPS for $10.
I've never understood why more dealers don't offer USPS. Tracking isn't as strong but even with insurance it's cheaper. Some dealers offer it if you call and request it. I tried that with J&G for a M92. No dice.
Staying on topic though, here's a M92 for $429 shipped: http://www.vizardsgunsandammo.com/product-p/7-ghg3089n.htm No returns though. Smells like everyone is clearing these out for incoming new models. |

Looks like the WASR 10 is 499 and the GP 1975 are 549. I would take the WASR over the 1975 gun and use the rest for ammo.

I was looking at the wasr 10/63. Which is better between the wasr 10 v.s the wasr 10/63? What are the differences?

The 10/63 comes with the slant muzzle brake, bayonet lug and a bayonet.

They sell bolt on front hand guard retainers that would allow you to use a standard lower hand guard. You would need a normal gas tube if you want to run a regular upper hand guard. |

During the worst of the fallout from Newtown they were selling USGI Aluminum AR mags for $100 each!
However, what was worse they were making a lot of noise in the first week or two that supported the anti-gun folks. They pulled all ARs and AKs off their site for a while... They only support the NRA and the Second Amendment when it is convenient and profitable. CTD will never get another dome from me. |
Yeah at first I thought CTD was just following the laws of supply and demand, and you couldn't fault them for that. But, there is a limit to that and selling a $10 magazine for 10x the price is disgusting and perpetuates an already difficult environment for modern shooting sports and hobbyists.
If you can do it, buy elsewhere, even if it means spending a little more money now. There are good companies with a sense of morality out there. |
CTD doesn't stock stuff, they mostly ship from distributors warehouses. That is why things are a different price depending on the warehouse.
They plain old gouged. |
Don't blame me I voted for kodos.

The whole pulling black rifles to appease the liberal masses and reports of them canceling pre-Newton backorders to charge their post-Newtown prices is what turned me off from them. |

Yep, the squarebacks will take standard AK stocks, though as with all RPK receivers (1.6 mm vs. 1 mm receiver thickness) you may need to sand a bit for final fit. As for handguards, there are a lot of aftermarket options available for Vepr's now that are the long-style, if you prefer a conventional AK handguard set-up, there are gas tubes and front handguard retainers available to make that conversion too. |
