It really depends on what you are looking for. Aim and Ammunition store are here in Ohio.
Are you interested in military type ammo, or hunting type ammo? |

I highly recommend, and use Ammoman.com. Their service is outstanding, shipping times are quick, and the shipping is included in the cost of the ammo. Great company.

I've bought ammo from AimSurplus a number of times and they have very good prices and fast delivery.

www.sportsmansguide.com/ has some good deals most of the time. Also, I found some cheap 7.62 on www.cabelas.com/ the other day too.

+1 Outdoormarksman is located in Oregon so it costs me very little in shipping costs to get it to my door in Montana. Great service as well. |

i used cabelas recently, i got 1000 7.62X39 round with 2 free ammo cans and it came to 88.90 shipped to my house and it took less than a week

Good news, Bad news WOLF AMMUNITION - 7.62 hollow point
March 11,2005 received 1000 rounds from cabalas Plus two metal ammo cans. The Cans are pretty decent. The whole deal including shipping was $88.94 Hell of good deal - until I shot the WOLF HP. Jam, Jam, Jam. Every single Box of 20 rounds had at least one SHORT bullet in it - so short it wouldn't load out of the magazine. I fired 5 boex (100 rounds) and had multiple failures. Afterward I inspected 100 additional rounds. Terrible inconsistency between rounds - apparently wolf is your typical Russian company - unmotived to produce a quality product, no quality control. I will NEVER EVER USE THIS AMMO FOR SELF DEFENSE .... NOT RELIABLE!!! The gun might not go bang! I'll endure the jams and shoot up this junk up at the range, but NEVER buy Wolf again. oh well I ended up ordering from cabelas or whatever cuz they were the only ones that had soft tips...thats all the range near me allows for aks.

UPDATE - It's my magzine, not the WOLF. I WILL buy Wolf AMMO again. Funny thing, the hollow points continue to JAM up in my Mak 90 but ONLY with a certain magazine. The AMMO seems to feed fine with the other mags. I do notice that WOLF does appear to have some rounds that measure a little short and others long - the bullet seating seems to have more varibility than I would expect. But overall, I'm now a BUYER of WOLF. |

I am sorry to hear that your wallet hurts, mine is starting to hurt a little because I just ordered 1k from Dansammo last week and now I am probably going to order another 1k from ammunitionstore and I am in the process of getting an AMD-65 built.
