A 9mm bore brush would be the right diameter for the chamber.

As stated once already, use a 5.56 chamber brush on a 300bo.

I use a 9mm/380 nylon bore brush. Double duty.

For the CHAMBER, I would assume it is a standard 5.56 chamber brush. Since the .300blk uses a reformed 5.56 case, it should use the same chamber brush.
For the BORE, a .308 cal brush or bore snake. |

The "chamber brush" is an expensive solution to a problem that doesn't exist imho.... |

A 300 blackout is a 5.56/.223 necked up to .30. That means the chamber is the same diameter as a 5.56... so a 5.56 chamber brush is the correct size. There is no way a .308 chamber brush would fit. A .308 case is larger than a 5.56/.223 so yeah, I'mg guessing people didn't read your question well and assumed you meant what size bore brush.
A 9mm bore brush is also about the same diameter as a 5.56/.223 chamber so that was also a legitimate answer. |
