Do they do loctite them or anything like that? I am going to install a free float rail soon and I want to know if I will have any extra challenges to expect. Thanks.

49 views and no replies? I am starting to think either no one owns an Armalite M15 or no one has tried to take the barrel of of one.

The nut on the buffer tube had to be cut off because of the bizarre waffle pattern staking on the nut itself (not the end plate). I wish I had a pic to post of it.

I'd help if I could. No experience with them and don't recall anyone saying one way or the other.

But be patient. Someone will come along that has been where you are.

I sent an e-mail to Armalite to see what they say. I will post the results in this thread.

Armalite advised they just use antiseize. I confirmed this tonight when I removed the barrel nut. It came right off with minimal effort.
