Glad to joint the crowd!hingI've been searching the sight for info and comments on Model 1 Sales for their complete kits.
I've got 4 stripped receiver doing their 10 stint so I can pick them up (Maybe Paris and Lee Baca can spring them early?)

Anyway, I like some perspective on Mode l Sales if you folks care to.

Thanks

Del-ton usually has better prices and they give discounts to arfcom members.

Do you have to call to get the discount?

I was a big Model 1 Sales fan, back when they weren't popular, but since that time, they've raised their prices quite a bit.  They are now similar in price to businesses with a better reputation such as J&T and Del-Ton.

On a related note, I recently jerked Del-Ton around a bit on an order, because I kept changing my mind, and they happily fulfilled my wishes and got me what I wanted speedily.  The lady who worked with me was a champ.

MODEL 1 SALES? Hmmm? Lets see..... my charging handle was phucked up when I tried to install it, they had to send me out a new one. After assembling it the hammer kept catching on the carrier, had to do a bit of home gunsmithing on her to even get it to run. All the bugs worked out and she shoots fine. BUT.... for the amount of money spent on this thing I'd rather not to have to phuck around with it!
P.s. build was model 1 sales car16 with a mega lower.

Bought a 6.8 20 inch upper from them awhile back. It would not feed ssa extreme or remington ammo. I sent it back and they fixed the problem and returned the upper to me a week later.

I would buy from them again.

My first upper was M1S.  It was okay, I didn't have any problems with it.  Customer service was just okay.  It wasn't a great upper, but was good value for the money.  I understand they're more expensive now.

I've been really happy with all the stuff I've gotten from Del-Ton, I order from them alot.  Guess I'd pick them over M1S now.  Del-Ton and J&T have great prices and outstanding customer service.
