Don't think a different selector would matter much.

Where the detent fits into is in the safety - the angle discrepancy is either the safety or the lower. Saying it's not the safety is discounting 50% of the possibilities.

I posted more stuff in another thread. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_66/677094_New_Lower__Safety_Detent_Hole_misalaigned_.html
-Tried extra detents/springs, no luck
-Tried different selectors, no luck.
-Attempted to slide a 1/8" punch through the detent hole, it wouldn't go through. Tried it on a PSA lower, and the punch went through with no resistance.
PSA Lower

BCP Lower

Definitely the lower receiver.
Was able to get a return label from BCP. They were very good about it. Just playing the waiting game now. If I don't hear anything I'll probably give them a call friday to see whats up.
I probably just won the lottery and got a lemon.

I ordered a 9mm Lower from Black Creek Precision.

I was pretty excited about the overall quality, after reading nothing but good things here. Well here is what happened after installing the safety selector.

Different detents and springs made no difference. One of the detents barely fit in the hole as well. Don't think a different selector would matter much. Using the same LPK that worked great on one of my PSA lower.
If it was a cheap $40 lower, I wouldn't really care. But it just sucks having something like this on a $190 lower.

Opinions?

I sent their customer service an email. Sadly they are closed on weekends, but I'm hoping they will make things right.

Everyone elses good so far? Mine was the 73rd made apparently.

Mine is also slightly off. I am not too concern and definitely do not want to go through the hassel for return.

See I can totally deal with that. Mine wasn't just a hair crooked though Your lower's safety doesn't seem all too notice-able.

Was told it could be an issue into other manufacturers specifications. PSA Possibly= Looser tolerances, BCP= Tighter tolerances.
They said they are sending the lower back with their own safety selector, and that everything fits flush. The 2 Selectors I had used/provided for them were from a PSA LPK.

Should be gtg, I mean it does happen sometimes. They have been great so far, but we'll see how things are once I have the lower back, and built.
