Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Osprey piston system + CMMG .22lr?

Already wrote an email to Osprey, but never got an answer: Can I still use my.22lr BCG with the OPS-416? I know, that it will work with the Adams Arms Sytem since I can turn it off (got an answer within a day) but I really like the classis M16-look of my AR and therefore I want to keep my A2 gas block/sigth.

You probably able to use the upper if you remove the op rod to allow the 22 kit to drop in.  .  I can't remember for the life of me how the piston rod is designed.

Might not have to remove the op-rod.  Might ping someone @ the ARFCOM store in Canton, there's someone there who spent a lot of time in the development of that piston kit, IIRC.
