To the people that want the very most perfect detail that they can get, NoDaks forgings offer better "authenticity".   As good as b-mans work is, and we all can agree that he does excellent work, I can see the differences between a reworked A2 lower and the A1's that NDS offer. That is NOT a slight against b-man's work.  I think that my 607 lower that I reprofiled and engraved myself is about as close a clone that could be produced using an A2 lower as a starting point. (admittedly, a biased opinion)  I wish that I had had an NDS lower available when I did my 607. It would have been worth the difference in price JUST to have the full forging flash on the lower.  You can't add flash to an A2 lower that already has the flashing milled off.
Again, I want to reiterate that my observances of the differences between what is available in reprofiles and NDS's A1 is in NO WAY a negative criticism of b-man's work.
