Very nice!

How are you liking that FSC556?

I've got to ask ... is that a rubber pad for a crutch on that buffer tube? I looked at some just the other day and they appeard to be too small to fit.

And nice pistol too!

Methinks I have the answer to this puzzle:

I took her out today.  Indoor range.  Had three fellow shooters three lanes over.  They all felt the concussion from the 7.5" FSC556.  They were shooting 30-30, .308, & 45-70.  I was using Fed .223 and had a little back blast.  Not too bad.

I switched to Fed XM193, and there is without a doubt a fireball out the front of that FSC556.  Back blast more noticeable as with the heat.  Still pretty fun, I'll have to take her outdoors to get the full effect.

A Noveske KX3 will be added later.

Just out of curiosity, what range did you sight in your Eotech?

Right now my pistol is just laser bore sighted at approx 25 yards to my flip sights. I just took my pistol out and fired about 30 rounds at a silhouette. I probably have a crude 6” group. I could definitely hit the broad side of a barn with it if you know what I mean, but I have yet to slap on some optics or bench test it. I'm waiting for the day I place an order for a red dot.
I'm really curious to find out just how accurate or inaccurate the 7.5" barrel is.

I did a 50 yard zero.  Shoots a .75 - 1" group.  At 25 yards, it's 1" low.  I'll take it out to 100 yards outdoor next time.

That's good at 50 yards. Thanks.

I contacted MY local ATF SAIC, the rubber cane tip is NOT considered a buttstock.
BTW, .7 - 1" with 30 rds.  The 7.5" is plenty accurate work for social distances.  Noveske will be on it later this week.

YMMV

The Noveske.....

Can't decide if I like the KAC rails or TangoDown rails more.  What do you think?

Took her out finally with the Noveske.  What a HUGE difference!  No more back blast with XM193.  Still a fireball, but very fun.    Several other shooters stopped by to inquire what I was shooting.  No issues at all.  I was ready to leave, when I spied a box full of RRA completed pistol lowers.  My dealer was wanting $250 OTD.  Can't decide if I want to build another pistol or get a lower to SBR.

Try Home Depot or Lowes, they have the rubber replacement feet for furniture, in a couple colors. If I remember they have them up to 1 1/4 inch....I think Wally World also has them.

Thanks guys.  The cane tip was purchased at ACE hardware.  1 1/8" - 28mm.  1 1/4" was too loose.  This fit is for the M1 Sales pistol buffer tube only.  Took it to the fun show today for a part and had waaaaaaaaay to many; "Want to sell it?"

I have since went to the Tango Down panels.  The KAC started to slide a little.

Just added Magpuls XTM rail covers.  They are much slimmer and a lower profile than KAC or Tango Downs.  They're on TIGHT.  Which is good, because I don't like loose.

Also shot a friends 7.5" with a Vortex.  A very small amount of flash, mainly in the chamber of the flutes.  Didn't have any XM193 onhand to really compare apples to apples though.

So what are you doing with those Tango Downs?  Actually in all seriousness, were they not tight on the rails?

They were tighter than the KAC.  But the XTMs are even tighter, plus they cover most of the rails.  They don't have the bulk as the TDs.  XTMs are very low profile, more than the KAC.  I'll get a pic or two up later.

Later....

Here's a politically correct pic for the Democrats out there. Still trying to figure a way to get the bayonet ring over the KX3.
