That's a hell of a nice set-up

I used the new Krylon sand color.  it is a little different from the khaki.  The only problem is none of the stores around here carry it.  So if I want to touch it up I'm going to have to order some more.

It can be easier once you understand the fundementals. Lighting, Good lighting will help your camera focus on the image correctly and the right balance of shadow and light to grab the eye of the viewer. Composition, similar to good lighting it helps keep the viewers eye in an area and or force feelings or thoughts and emotion. Get behind your camera and imagine what the image will look like when you take the photo, if the angles and lighting and composition feel good to you, snap a pic. Snap a pic even if it does not, sometimes they dont show the true value till you get em in photoshop and view actual image size.

Very nice rifle! Is the upper assembly ArmaLite as well, or just the lower receiver?

On my rifle?

Basically the whole gun is
Its coated in Duracoat Daniel Defense FDE. It is much much darker than everyone elses FDE. It blends in much better than black or the normal tan FDE.

My 12.5 is coated the same way

Just got my first AR today.  Nothing exotic,  It's a Spike's Mid-Length with Magpul MOE furniture and a Primary Arms M3 scope.  Shot a couple clips through it this afternoon.  Love it!!

I think he said it was so the sight did not get in the way with how he gripped the fore end of the Rifle.

I was bored with the all black, so a bit a Tactical FDE from dura coat , a new aimpoint cover and few other parts changed that.

Exactly what ive been looking at for my sbr build. Eventually I'll use an AAC can on it but I don't think the gooseneck will clear the can.
