Just waiting on Troy rear BUIS in FDE, and a FDE tango down grip, instead of the OD one on there :)

Basic M&P15 MOE FDE.

Plan on getting an MS2 sling and an Aimpoint in the future.  After putting 1k rounds through it I'll decide if I want to grab a vertical grip or not.

Already grabbed 5 more 2009 M PMAGS FDE.

Sir James...

Is the rail cover on top spanning the gap between the rail and receiver?

Looks interesting.

Will a LaRue do this, anyone?

I thought Noveske FF handguards created a continuous rail between the handguard and the upper. Am I misinform?

Yes, the Noveske is continuous. The LaRue is not but I got to wondering for some reason if this would work spanning the LaRue ring. Just curious.

LWRCi M6A3, 14.7" barrel, PA flash hider.

About the magwell grip...I'm just exploring my options. I don't see myself using it very much, so it'll be coming off. It does a great job of covering the serial number for taking pictures, though.

Mag lock and 10 round mag are installed.

There is no gap between the upper and the rail.  It is a 16" Low Pro Recce with the SWS rail.  I think it is just the angle I took the pic and the way that the XTM panels cover the rail.

What I meant is that a single rail cover was attached to both rail and receiver across the meeting point. I looked at the larger version on photobucket and see that it does.

Thanks

I have that magwell grip and I actually like it a lot.  It's great for prone shooting, and if your forend gets hot.  I don't have a rail or pistol grip though, so It's a bit redundant with a VFG.

I use the Brownell's Alumahyde in Coyote. I find it matches the Magpul's FDE the best and is less of a PITA to apply than DuraCoat if you're doing it yourself and dont want to dive into what it takes to DuraCoat.
