For a long time now I've wanted to access a thread dedicated to high quality images.  Not that I am amazing at photography, but with some photoshop skills and the right lighting, I do alright for me I guess.

Lets start a thread dedicated to some high quality images.  Its hard to determine what a high quality image from other images so maybe a few guidelines:

You don't need an amazing camera, or an extremely high resolution image, preferably a very clear image though.  The key is lighting.  Some images off my phone are better than the ones people quickly take of there gun with standard cameras when the lights in the room, taken with a flash, tinted yellow with feet in the picture lol.

In other words, I would like to think maybe a better way for deciding if an image belongs here is weather or not the user took his/her time with the picture to make sure the lighting was right and the image was clear.  I would expect photo's from Quib, stick, b3, Clasky, Mark, and others to appear here maybe.  If not, all is well, I'll have fun looking at whats out there!

So for quick and easy suggestions, one rule I think should be that any image taken on the living room carpet floor, or on the kitchen table, or those which have feet in the bottom of the image should automatically be disqualified for this thread.  Remember, this is not a thread for high quality AR's (though there are many that will be high quality rifles) this is a thread for high quality images.  Again, not that judging an images quality is something easily done, but without listing a ton of rules I think the general arfcom public can determine the quality of images.

Here's a few of what I've got.

Not the best, but its a start! IM me for full res photo's if anyone wants one.

New Rule: If your going to post a picture, either your image has to include at least some part of an AR15 in it; or you can post a picture of a non-AR so long as you also include another picture of an AR (or at least some part of an AR).  Any picture you do post, has to be a high quality picture....(which is subjective and relative I know, but its the best we can do) This rule was added on page 134

Your camera has more rounds and use than your rifles and gear. Does that sling ever leave its holster?

Maybe it's a new build. Or for a customer.

It certainly does considering I can shoot my camera literally anywhere.
As for the sling, not when I'm not using it.....  Also, I do remove a lot of marks in post to make the rifles look cleaner.

This one is less touched up

Posted this in another thread. My first AR15.

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but I cannot get my pictures to display correctly. I've read the how-tos and im adding the correct tags around my link. Perhaps this is a restriction or limitation for newer members?

Sharp looking rifle for sure, and made up of very high quality parts.

Now all you need is a pair of Mk4 barrel nut bolts and your finished....

Oh I just used some Gorilla Glue. Should be good enuff... :P

The bolts are defiantly on now. When I took the picture I had to take advantage of the lighting coming through the window. It was raining for days in Houston and during that day the sun came out for a bit. I was prettt excited how it turned out so I snapped a picture  before putting the rail bolts and railscale screws in.
