Okay, so I know that this is probably a totally a long shot, the topic has come up before fairly casually about the Geissele receivers/rifles that y'all use as display guns at shows. I know that it's been said that there are no plans to make these for commercial sale, so I'm trying a new tack. What will it take to get Geissele receivers? Is it a licensing/manufacturer issue? Is it an interest/perceived market issue? Is it just a "don't want to deal with it, and our machines are busy enough as is" issue? I want a DDC lower, really, truly, seriously I do, what needs to happen? Imagine... A DDC matched receiver set, with a Super Charging Handle, with the option of adding FCG and/or handguard of choice... If nothing else, could ya post up some more pictures? (I know I've seen better ones online, but couldn't find them at the moment) http://truthaboutguns-zippykid.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/IMG_3863-900x600.jpg http://blog.1800gunsandammo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/img_0932.jpeg Pretty please? ~Augee View Quote God Willing we will all see something soon!!!!!! |

I would totally buy a few, hell I wish Gissele would start making complete rifles. I would totally buy 2-3 !
It really seems like it would a natural progressions for G to eventually start selling complete rifles. I mean look at Larue, they started much the same way as Geissele making improved accessories and eventually building there own rifles to same standards they make everything else. Im sure they have the design and manufacturing capabilities to produce there own uppers and lowers. Perhaps making there own barrels (CHF or SS) would be one component that would require a significant investment in machining, but with that they would be offering all of the essential parts to building a whole rifle. Given Gissele's track record of producing innovative components with some of the best build quality that Ive seen from anyone in the gun industry I think a complete Geissele rifle would pretty much sell itself. The only reason I can think that Geissele wouldn't eventually sell complete rifles is they don't want to deal with all the regulations and paper work of becoming a manufacturer when they seem to have all the work they can handle from making accessories. Or they don't want to step on the toes of existing manufacturers who have helped them get to where they are today. Either way id be very interested in a complete rifle, or upper and lower to build my own ! |

Oh hell yeah can't wait !

DDC receivers would be unbelievable.
I want a complete FDE rifle but don't care to mess with coatings. G could be the answer. |

We want super presicion lowers!
I just hope they don't cost a butt load like Noveske lowers |
|
DDC ALG buffer tube, DDC receiver sets, DDC CH and DDC MK4 with DDC mount... Alg LPK, super 42 spring and buffer, SSAE.... Really they already make all the components in house.. They just need a source for barrels and BCG's that meet bill's strict quality standards

Geissele folks, I have a legit question.
I was handling your display rifles today at Camp Perry and they all feel so light. The barrels aren't pencil and they all seem to be complete rifles. What's the deal? I don't know what it is but they just do not feel as heavy as the look. |

Geissele Automatics is a licensed firearms manufacturer; download and search the Pennsylvania XLS or TXT FFL file. https://www.atf.gov/firearms/listing-federal-firearms-licensees-ffls-2016 |

So if I could just get my hands on a DDC receiver set....we might be in business

Please be ambi! What, no. Regular lower is best lower. No. Ambi is best. Pshh, ambi isn't Geissele's style. Sure it is. Look at their charging handle. If you look at the now-cancelled M4A1+ COTS improvement program, the G charging handle fits that almost to a "T", as do their various rail systems. They seem to innovate and allocate resources looking forward at what various militaries might want. At least initially, I don't see them releasing an ambi lower. I'm not sure there's a market to sustain it. Unless they've been working on this for years, seem like a short time to put together an ambi lower. But hey, this is the internet and arguing is free. I like ambi, just hope they release regular milspec-ish lowers. |

Are there any good pictures of their mil spec lowers out there? I found a picture of a billet lower with the G logo, but that was it.

The KAC lower is my go to lower right now and my only additional request would be an ambi bolt lock. |
