How durable is it? My Surefire suppressors are Cerakote, and I have marred them. Is the black anodizing more ding-friendly? I mean, not that it really matters, just curious.
-Is the inside of the lower done? (mag-well, etc.)
-Is the inside of the upper done?
-Does Daniel Defense do these in-house, or contract out?
-Is the anodizing roughed or otherwise altered from what it would otherwise be, before the Cerakote?
-Theoretically, if I bought a Cerakoted DDM4, and then chemically removed it (I don't believe you can, hence "in theory"), would the rifle look and be identical to a DDM4 that never was Cerakoted?
