Krylon rattle can pinestraw type pattern.  The whole rifle was painted before I replaced the original stock with the olive web HS Precision.

My first rattle can attempt.  Technically second.  The first time I was not happy with the results and sprayed over it before reassemling the gun.  the Scope and mag are just wrapped with MC ace bandage type wrap.

That looks really nice. I might try that on one of my rifles.
Although I must say you missed a spot on the bolt, bolt handle, action, scope, and barrel.

Thank you

It was my first attempt so I wanted to stick with the stock. Next time I may paint the entire thing

Not the best lighting but I was trying to go for that custom "krylon shadow" pattern ;)

Every single one of you goes the camo route. What makes you guys want to be able to lose your gun when you et it down and go take a whizz? Yes, that's mostly a joke but the question remains, WTF is with every single one thinking that camo is the only thing you can do? Is there no creativity or originality? I do have to give credit, all your rifles look really good but my admiration capacity for various instantiations of camouflage is limited.

So, here's project Humunculus. A Savage 110, 7mm BR which is also known as "The Bowling Ball Gun". That's a fibreglass stock with black and red marble with a candy finish. Purpose built race gun for metallic silhouette. Garish guns are basically the rule.

This is project Rolling Stone, a Mossberg MVP .223 known as "The Snake Gun". It's cerakote black, FDE and tri-color black/red/sand for the coral snake pattern with grey accents in the scale lines. Meant to resemble a Sonoran Coral Snake. Not finished yet as is obvious.

And Project Gabriel a Savage 10FPSR .243AI known as "The Hot Dog Gun" or "The Dodger Dog Gun". Rattle can front to back. Meant to look like a classic Dodger Dog implemented as a rifle. Go Dodgers!

Ask and you shall receive.

And the big brother to it, a .308 barrel that actually goes on the Hot Dog gun. This is rattle can and I used the plastic netting thingy they wrapped the barrel in to mask off the scale lines. Came out well for like zero real effort. I did this one first to see if I was going to want to burn the money on cerakote. It looked cool enough that I did. Other shooters at matches spend a lot of time thinking about my barrel paint instead of about how they'll shoot the stage. If I can make them miss just one target that's one more point I don't need to make to win.

Ruger Precision Rifle in 308 with Burris XTR2 5-25.  MC is ratle can, the scope is wrapped with vinyl, and the hadnguard is wrapped with camo wrap to help concealment (cover up that keymod).
