I figured I'd ask this here as I've hit a brick wall.

I found a Luger with a vet's name and what I think is his WW-2 era service number burned into the inside of one of the scales.

I went to my go-to place (AAD) but no love there.

If anyone has another resource I could use (or wants to do the look-up) let me know the resource or IM me with his info.
