Im going with a Stiller Lapua-sized TAC338 action in a billet,barrel-block stock.

Planning on putting my 27 " Lilja on my Norinco milled AK Hunter and chambering her for 6.5 Grendel

A matching pair of USFA SAAs in 45LC is high on the want list as is an LAR Grizzly in 45 Win Mag.

3. Get a reloading setup built around a hornady LnL press and start bulk loading .223.

4. M&P9c and holster for appendix carry.

5. If I'm really lucky, build my dream general purpose AR. BCM middy upper with 9.0 omega x rail, CHF barrel NF NXS 1-4 with fc-2 reticle in a larue mount. Lower will be whatever rollmark I like with a magpul ACS, BAD, LWRCI FCG, and MOE grip.

Tossing all Demon-crats out of Congress come November.

That being accomplished...I can again enjoy shooting.

The one AR thing I want to get this year is a clear idea of how I want to set up my AR. I'm going back and forth among leaving the carry handle on, putting on a red-dot, putting on a scope and how the BUIS (rear) works with all that. At this time I have the BUIS on with a red dot 1X, but I have a 3-9x32 'tactical' scope in the mail. It all depends on how I decide the AR will come into play in various scenarios, none of which involve using it in my house or on my subdivision lot. I actually picked up the 'scope because I thought I might like to shoot the 'Appleseed' deal with it someday. Since it mounts directly to the upper, I guess I could zero it and take it off for later.
When I first found out about the Para TTR upper/folding stock kit, I was intent on getting one. I'd still like to have it, but think it's over-priced now.
For non-AR stuff, I realized a few weeks ago that I want a '50s-era Browning Hi-Power with internal extractor. I have three HPs now and will probabbly sell or trade one to get what I want. But, you all know how these things go - there is no such thing as being satisfied with what you have, and new things are constantly coming out, plus we are all changing as the years go by which alters our perceptions of what we like and what we need. I'm getting ready to get rid of all my old BDUs, boots, accessories, etc. and get all new stuff in MULTICAM and Coyote - I dig that combination.

Dude, I like how you think! I would re-prioritize those goals, though:

1. JOB!
2. AR
3. GF
4. Not only voting, but working to ensure a victory. Contact your local Rep. party or work through the NRA.

In order of my personal preference... But I guarantee I won't get them in this order:

1. M1 Garand Rifle

2. 20" barrel / upper for my AR15.

3. Attain that Rifleman patch officially.

4. Get my 10/22 to where it will actually shoot.

5. Republicans gain control or pull even in either the House or the Senate.

If it has to be only one... I am stuck between #1 and #2... leaning toward #2.
