CNN talkback, the guest, who seems to know quite a lot about Columbia and the drug war says that the US is already mired in a civil war there.

He says the reason we don't hear about it is that the US Military is not involved, that the war is being "outsourced" to former US military personnel, former CIA, and mercenaries.  He talks about a helicopter full of US Civilians was shot down last week and a rescue was put on by former 82nd Airborne guys who were recruited by the employer of the civilians.

Very interesting...
