A few years ago, I was interviewed for a BBS Documentary. That's pre-Internet cyberspace for you noobs.
 Anyway, it's out now and I scanned through the copy I received and part of my interview made the final cut. Now that I am a famous celebrity, I am converting to liberalism and socialism. The part I saw was me talking about how I met my wife through my BBS. The interviews are all cut together, so I may be in some other parts as well. Once I watch the whole thing (after I tear myself away from Warcraft for a bit), I'll let you know. |

It really sucked downloading pron with a 1200 baud modem. Of course, in those days 256 color images were rare.

oh man, I remember the days of downloading 16 color pics of, ahem, women minus clothing, via compuserve, on my Amiga 1000 connected up with a lightning fast Supra 1200 baud MODAM.
Still have the hardware in my garage. Shit, anyone else spend damn near $500 for a US Robotics Dual Standard 33.6k fax/modem when it first came out?. |

Terminal One was a four-node Wildcat BBS and I ran it for about five years. We had a LANtastic coax network, with some machines running a single node and some running multiple nodes using and DESQview.
