To keep the tops from flopping over do this:
Go to Walmart and buy one of those foam pool floaties for kids. It is about $4, and 4' long. Cut it into 1' lengths and install in each boot. One floatie does two pairs. Done. You're welcome. Attached File Attached File |

A.) nobody here goes to Walmart.
B.) couldn’t you just cut old unneeded M1A rifles into four parts and do the same thing? |

I roll up an old magazine. Expands to fit the boot and keep it upright.

Guess I’m not old enough I can keep my boots up. Anderson Beans for the win.

They are also about 15 years old and cared for. They are not worn every day. Eventually, the tops want to fold over. For $1 per boot it's easy to stop that. |

Best hack is to only get them out on rodeo day, and as soon as the show is over go find comfy boots to wear instead.

Lol, no, I prefer having sex with biological women.

You should see the guys that show up to the small rodeos now with all the high speed cowboy gear.....they flop off right out of the chute and then get mad about it. Just like hunting and every other hobby it's all about the social media image now. My dad is about to turn 60 and he started back up last year just because it seemed easy, and it was. All he had to do was score, everyone else just falls off now. Then he got hurt because he's almost 60 and decided it was time to retire....again. |

I’ve been wearing redwing pecos to work Tuesdays and Thursdays since 1/2021. They still stand but the soles are slicks now.
