Since the parents of that school shooter are going to prison for buying him a gun is her dad going to jail a long with her for buying her a sports car?

Here’s the only pertinent bit. And it’s pretty important to know: You don’t have plausible deniability in a modern car. She got down to normal speed and barely tapped that motorcycle. If she had been driving an ‘87 Corvette, her legal situation would be different. Not defending her. Just saying, it’s important to remember, the car will Always rat you out. At times, I reflect upon my life and I am extremely grateful I did not kill, or cause great physical harm to anyone, or get killed/crippled doing some of the things I did.
Not everyone that makes mistakes from teenage years to their mid- 20's is so fortunate. I have personally viewed the immediate results of too many of those absence of judgement that I exhibited when I was younger and reckless. |

Godamn I can't believe people buy cars that will tattle on them like this. I would not own a vehicle or object that could log my speed and other info like that. I don't even allow my phone to do that.

Everywhere you use a credit or debit card or write a check. There is no such thing as being untrackable unless you have no electronics, ride a horse, pay cash or barter, and never pass a camera. |

I do not care how many horsepower the new vettes have or how fast this do this, that, or the other thing, they are not super cars.

She did stop and try to provide aid, so she feels remorse. She also did a dumb thing and deserves prison. Prison may straighten her out by teaching her that mistakes have consequences, so she'll never kill anyone else. It may also harden her so that the next time she kills someone, she'll just go burn her car down, and report it stolen.

Fuck these elitists so-called “journalists”; “a modest home in a working class neighborhood” were the words used by every leftist in every big city rag when I was growing up.
I wonder what kind of bohemian shithole the left bank wannabe halfwit that wrote that article lives in? For a “modest” home, it looked well maintained and the owners at least have pride in where they live. |

Quoted: Depends on the size of the SD card in your performance data recorder(if equipped). And if you have it set up as a dash cam or not. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Couple of things. 1. Article states she is accused of driving 155mph. However, that may not have played a role in the crash. It also says she was going 87mph at the time of the collision. Traffic generally flows about 75mph on the freeways in the Valley so that's a 12mph differential. Not excusing her fuckup, but not as reckless as the article makes it sound. Still impactful, but the article makes it sound like she plowed over a stopped motorcyclist at 155mph. 2. The car apparently records a lot of what you are doing. Anyone know how far back the downloadable digital records go on these new cars? Depends on the size of the SD card in your performance data recorder(if equipped). And if you have it set up as a dash cam or not. Has nothing to do with a PDR or an SD card. Every car since 2014 has an "event data recorder"...a "black box". It will keep information for at least 30 days. |
