The very first day we dropped into VietNam I met up with my ol' DI, Sgtar15.  He wasted no time in giving me the news.

I imediately put my team into action.  It is like those 6 weeks of traing at bootcamp just took over......

The men got busy packing their supplies.  Private CavVet on the left was always ready, as was the very trust worthy Private Osprey21.

But this new guy..................something Gore........I hasn't to sure about him.  He was kind of "slow"

ANyway....I got them all together for patrol....and we went out to meet the others.

To be continued.

I'm impressed by the articulation of these "action figures".

And yes, Sgar15 is very creative.

But I still wonder if this will fade as a fad.

We met the two other guys at the gate.  Radio operator Private Taxman on the right and Private Red_Beard on the left

Ed told them about the mission and how we needed their help...

After some wheeling and dealing we were on our way....

Sarge got evryone in a nice formation and we started to move thru the jungle....

My point man Private CavVet thought he heard some noise so he had the radio man call for a strike!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of the team keep an eye out for any "unfriendly" that may have been "flushed out".....

To be continued................

While in VietNam Ed meet lots of great people...Including this brave helo pilot named DaBunny who loved to tell stories.

But Ed didn't exactly get along with everyone he met....

Usually after a hard night of patrols the guys would relax anyway they could......
