let's face it gang, the biggest problem with us progunners as a group is a lack of unity...
we need unity and communication and coordination to win the fights we fight, not necessarily a whole lot of little individual standoffs (although they do help... an individual should always be commended for standing up for anything)
what the antigunners have that we dont is a solid backbone, a core (read- "hive") mind that drives the rest. they area community that thrives on appearances on local and national news, and on any talk show that will give them the oxygen to waste.
example: here in memphis, a local news station ran a story about permit holders, which surprised me as to its positivity. hoever, some of the verbage used by the anchorpeople- they talked of how many people around "you" (sic) are armed- as if the general, 'educated' public that tunes into the news wouldnt dare think of owning a gun.
to be treated as a group of responsible people and to have our rights recognized by EVERYONE we must stand as a unified people. whether that means joining the nra (which you should) or witing a senator (which you better), we must ALL stand up and do it as ONE PEOPLE, and never turn our backs on what we hold dear.
that said, get off your butt and do something TODAY!
and for those of us that are, my thanks for your help, and may you always heve the strength to do so.
