Africa is a rich and beautiful land that is our ancestral home. The last thing it needs is more interference from the white devil. Imagine where they would be today if they were allowed to stand on their own.

I'm going to blame the EU and food dumping in this one. Cheap food is donated or dumped on the market and local farmers cant compete so they go and drink instead.

Send them condons, and birth control pills. Charity begins at home.

How is money going to solve a hunger problem?
Are they going to eat the money? WHy aren't they asking for food? |

Foreign aid has ruined Africa. How much money has been squandered there?
We could have built an border wall around the United states a few times and fed every man woman and child in America for years is my guess. Time to MAGA. That A does not stand for Africa. The only way I am for giving aid to Africa is if they cede us a few countries with either good farm land or natural resources. We call the new nation America II and offer land to American citizens. |

Even though total foreign aid is a fraction of the budget I say stop all of it. We need to focus on America first. Yes I'm lucky that I was born in America and it's not those kids' fault they were born into a shithole, but life isn't fair and never has been. Many of those African countries have all sorts of natural resources or other means of being productive. This next comment will piss off the SJWs but some of those countries were doing decently under colonial rule, it was after their independence that they went to complete shit. Wasn't Rhodesia a "breadbasket" for Africa? Now Zimbabwe is a shithole that drove off all the experienced farmers and can't feed anyone. I'm not saying colonial rule was all rainbows and unicorns for African countries but I think many of them were better off than they are now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimbabwe#Agriculture View Quote Fuck that shithole. |

Let the UN deal with it, like they have been for the last 30+ years already.

Bullshit story.
They're starving because of "proposed" cuts? That just means they're fucking away everything we're giving them now. Food is cheap. Government bureaucracy is expensive as fuck. |
|
|
When the U.S.A. is out of debt and has a few billion in annual surplus....
I would ask for a tax cut. |
|
During GWB's first inauguration, he pledged $15 BILLION of our tax money to fight AIDS in Africa. I remember this clearly because I screamed at the TV that this was global socialism and immediately regretted voting for the fucker. Guess what? Africa still has the AIDS.
Long story short, fuck Africa, Fuck the UN and Fuck giving one single red cent to anyone that isn't a U.S. citizen. |

Any statistics you can share on starvation deaths in the US? And, they are a market for US farmers via the government. View Quote |

"We are facing the largest humanitarian crisis since the creation of the United Nations," Stephen O'Brien, the U.N. humanitarian chief, told the U.N. Security Council after a visit this month to Somalia and South Sudan.
At least $4.4 billion is needed by the end of March to avert a hunger "catastrophe" Having worked in International development, I will tell you, without doubt, less than 10% of that $4.4B will ever be used to help people truly starving. The vast, vast majority of it will be used to line the pockets of politicians, pay for logistics contracts and pay-off local warlords/gangsters/terrorists. When I worked overseas, I constantly heard how horrible the U.S. is BUT we were the ones bringing the most chips to the party. In some of these places, we could have made the poor millionaires if the money "spent on them" had been dolled out on an individual basis. |

They can feed themselves or wait for private charitable aid. Our government does not need to be throwing money at it

FUCK AFRICA! How long is the American taxpayer supposed to bail out a failing continent? These people will not even rise up on their own, so why should we. They are supposedly the oldest civilization on Earth, but still live in huts made of mud and shit, it's time to write it off as lost.

Its not the job of the government to feed the hungry. Its charities that do such things.
No where in the constitution does it say, "And we hereby say that we will also feed the world" |
|
We feed poor Muslim African countries so they can produce more African Muslims.....and they do reproduce...
And on that note. I would not mind my tax $ going to Etheopia. But F! Zimbabwe and the rest of North Africa. |
|
The only aid Africa should get is birth control. Any money we give them goes to warlords.

Worst humanitarian crisis hits as Trump slashes foreign aid The world's largest humanitarian crisis in 70 years has been declared in three African countries on the brink of famine, just as President Donald Trump's proposed foreign aid cuts threaten to pull the United States from its historic role as the world's top emergency donor.
If the deep cuts are approved by Congress and the U.S. does not contribute to Africa's current crisis, experts warn that the continent's growing drought and famine could have far-ranging effects, including a new wave of migrants heading to Europe and possibly more support for Islamic extremist groups. The conflict-fueled hunger crises in Nigeria, Somalia and South Sudan have culminated in a trio of potential famines hitting almost simultaneously. Nearly 16 million people in the three countries are at risk of dying within months. *** "We are facing the largest humanitarian crisis since the creation of the United Nations," Stephen O'Brien, the U.N. humanitarian chief, told the U.N.
