I deal with a lot of customers and vendors in Texas and they are, 9 times out of 10, self centered, arrogant, douche bags. Come to think of it, the most arrogant people I've ever met in my life were Texans.
I'd blame it on the industry but I've seen too folks from Texas on here acting the same way. Am I wrong? |

Most of those assholes are people who move here from the north east, IL, or CA.
You're not talking to Texans |

They have 30.06. They espouse to love guns but have 30.06. Much freedom. So 2nd Amendment.

Texas is a horrible, jacked up place. That's the reason all these people act like the OP talks about, the place is so bad it makes them miserable. My advice is that every one thinking of moving to Texas avoid the place like the plague, especially the people from the north east an California.

Fuck y'all I'm from Texas.
And I am proud enough to at the very least put it in my profile. |

Texans are always tough, my advice is don't piss them off. look what happened to Mexico.

Oh, but you're going to suck it up next Monday and keep taking our money, that's for sure.
Everybody wants to talk shit about Texas until it's time to do business with Texas. |

Well, since moving to Texas, my penis has grown to 11" long, they tell me its the water, but ultimately who cares, its a fricken python! And after the proper re-education down here, I have come to realize we are better than you mere mortals, and we don't like you.
That is why OP... |

I work at a pricey private school in suburban Dallas. We have students from India, China, Mexico City, Thailand, and even Canada. I have taught ESL classes at my church where my students were primarily from the Middle East and Asia.
To a person, when I ask them how they like Texans and living in North Texas, they always say that Texans are the nicest, friendliest and most helpful people they have been around. I'm 61. I don't recall the last time anyone said anything unkind about Texans other than we have way too many shitty drivers. If a bunch of Texans treat you like you're an asshole, you are one. |

Yes private property rights, enforceable by law not an individual business, and that trumps your right to self defense correct? Government intrusion into a personal choice. Bullshit law written to get you CCW, at the expense of you and your family. Otherwise you still wouldn't have CCW, nice "compromise". "I'm a 2A supporter........but.

Notice how he does not reveal the industry OR his state?
That's called a "clue". Just as an aside, I've seen two Yankees almost talk them selves into getting shot. One from New York, one from New Jersey. Both at car rental places. No one cares how you do it where you are from and a hell of a lot of Texas workers who deal with the asshole tourists pack guns. |

Most people I've encountered from New England area and California are assholes.
Don't tell them good morning/afternoon/evening if you don't want them giving you the stink eye and an attitude. Besides, I don't know where you live because you hide your location like a <coc violation>, but what country did your state kill off? |

Full disclosure: I'm a Texan.
I probably come off as arrogant to many idiots. |
