What say the hive?  Found in stock and contemplating installing on in one of my rifles.

The echo looks interesting, but it will probably be banned in wa.  The other one is already banned here and the reviews I saw showed it outrunning the bolt home causing it to not fire.

We got in 12 Echo triggers and have already sold 11.  No complaints so far.  Business partner got one and he said "IT ROCKS!!"

I want to put an Echo in the 300 BLK I'm building. I came to the same conclusion on the other trigger as well, way too many issues with review videos.

Watching a video on the Eco trigger it shows it will not work with a full auto carrier.  I think all of my rifles are running full auto carriers.  Haven't seen that mentioned with Franklin Armory.

Seeing that in the early ones on video but not the new Gen3.  ?????   Might get both systems at some point and see which is better.  Fifteen ARs so it could get really expensive if I go crazy lol.  I can haz a Franklin tomorrow!!!

I have one of the 2nd gen Franklin Armory BFS triggers in a rifle. It is neat, but a huge PITA to install. I'm pretty sure the 3rd gen BFS triggers are easier to install.

Sure, it is a waste of money, but so is a lot of the other cool stuff I have. At least I can make use of the pictogram auto markings on that Spikes lower.

My Echo is fun as shit. No problems so far. There is a lot of engineering in there, and it comes with a stripped carrier. People spend a lot more on dumber shit when it comes to guns.

It does take some getting used to. You have to be sure to pull the trigger all the way back, then release.

I'd worry about muscle memory, having a gun that goes off when you release the trigger seems like a recipe for a ND.

That is a definite concern, especially if handing the gun to an inexperienced shooter.  Very awkward movement holding the trigger back and hitting the selector back to semi to prevent the second shot!

I have a Franklin gen 2. fun fun fun

With a AIM lightweight bolt and a springco red, I can't get it to hammer follow even if I try.

They are great but you have to be prepared to tweak the gun to get them to work perfectly.

I have a gen2 BFS in my MPX, I can easily outrun the bolt and get annoyed.

I will likely pull it and try it in one of my AR's with a light weight BCG and springco orange spring.

If the hammer outruns that combo (which works great with bumpfire) I guess it will be pulled and thrown in the back of the drawer or sold.

Don't some of the retro clone guys reweld demilled M16 lower bits (specifically, just the part with the rollmark) to 80% lowers? Do one of those and drop in an Echo trigger.

The key is to keep cycle speed of the carrier faster than cycle speed of your hammer. A little extra spring and a little extra gas or less carrier mass and you can't outrun it if you want to.

I do BumpSAW's as well, but the binary triggers are better for aimed shoulder fire. BumpSAW's are great prone but not as controllable from other positions.

You also get better stock choices with the binary type triggers.

Franklin Gen3  comes with a much stiffer spring in the kit.  There is a video of Franklin Arsenal Gen3 shooting faster than a full auto M4.  Machinegungirl or something like that.  ETA here it is

Yeah  A 30rd mag is easy to keep the speed uniform. Drop a 100rd mag in and you definitely slow down towards the end.
